I've narrowed down a few of the popular professional selections: CHI Straight Guard, Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide, Pureology SuperStraight Relaxing Serum and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum though i haven't used any of the following so a recommendation and a description would be helpful.
I need a professional quality product that's prevents frizzing, smoothes hair, prevents thermal damage and split ends and moisturizes.

The Paul Mitchell one is more of a blow-drying lotion and not so much for straightening. It doesn't offer heat protection, but will smooth hair and help it dry faster. Redken Heat Glide is awesome for when you use a flat iron on your hair, but just using it for blow-drying won't do all that much (it offers heat protection and frizz, but doesn't smooth too much.)
The CHI product is probably the best out of all of them, unless you have colored hair. Then use the Pureology - it'll protect your color the most from any heat damage, it's specifically made for color treated hair. Also it is vegan and organic, if that matters to you.

As far as how to set it in, if you add white vinegar to the wash the first time you wash it, that will set in the color...You might even just try using the vinegar when you're doing the dye...You'll really just have to experiment..If I were you, I'd start with an old tshirt that you don't care about anymore before you try it on new stuff..But the vinegar is the key to setting it in...
